FAQ
What protocols does this device support?
This device supports dual protocols, offering Thread* and Zigbee** compatibility. This allows it to meet different needs and serve a wider user base. In Zigbee mode, you can unlock the Aqara ecosystem's exclusive features, while Thread mode enables integration with third-party ecosystems. *To use this device with a specific Matter ecosystem, a Matter controller and Thread border router for that ecosystem are required. **To be compatible with Aqara Home in Zigbee mode, an Aqara gateway device is required.
Can this device use both Thread and Zigbee protocols?
No. The device defaults to Thread protocol. If you want to use Zigbee protocol, you need to turn on/off the light 5 times to reset the device. When you reconnect to the network, you can switch to Zigbee protocol according to the instructions on the App network page. The protocol switching process may take several minutes to load. Please note that protocol switching is equivalent to "restoring factory settings", and all configuration items in the previous protocol will be deleted.
How many ecosystems can this device support at the same time?
This device supports joining up to 5 ecosystems at the same time.
Can this device be used without network access?
When the bulb is not connected to the network, it can still be used as a normal bulb, but if you want to use app control, smart connection or other functions, you must first connect the bulb to the network.
Does the Aqara LED Bulb support lamps with a rotary dimmer switch (for example, a table lamp with a rotary dimmer switch)?
Please do not install the Aqara LED bulb in a lamp with a knob dimmer switch to avoid damage.
How do I reset my device?
Use the physical switch to turn the bulb on and off 5 times in a row. When the bulb flashes twice quickly and then stays on, it means the bulb has been successfully reset.
How do I restore the device to factory settings?
Use the physical switch to turn the bulb on and off 10 times in a row. When the bulb flashes twice quickly and then stays on, it means the bulb has been successfully restored to factory settings. Please note that restoring factory settings will clear all configuration items and related records.
Is this device waterproof?
It does not have a waterproof function and can only be used in dry indoor environments.
